I've never quite understood the fascination some people have with Jack Johnson. He just doesn't seem to do it for me. Almost like he's a poor man's Cat Stevens.

The Curious George soundtrack is really quite good, my son loves it. I actually think he should stick to kids music.

Glad he made some big bucks while the wave was crankin and he'll continue to I s'pose. Just doesn't do anything for me. North Shore Haole makes good -- read all about it. In fairness, a very (seemingly) likebale guy that caught the big one for the ride of his life. Personal opinion (forum, correct?) just think he's been over-hyped/over-played and now it's time for that set to settle down and he can return to the most perfect place in the world and watch that sunset/sunrise as the waves break. Lot's of music out there --next...! Thanks for the Dylan follow-up -- I never liked him before either... hmmm, maybe Jack will grow on me...? NAH!

Man, the negative comments on this song shock me! Jack Johnson has a distinctive, listenable sound that I think fits in very well with RP. I found myself happily bobbing along to the music before I was even conscious of what I was listening to.

I won't disparage other people's negative comments here, but I don't understand their sentiments at all.

I don't really mind hearing this song, but it's nothing special either.

This song could sound a lot better if the singer had a powerful voice.

Zzzzzzzzz... Jack Johnson is one of the most insipid singer/ songwriters out there. Everything he does sounds the same, and furthermore, sounds like some cheesy commercial.

Don't play JJ!

Yes you have a very good point because all popular musicians suck. Now stop playing the Beatles and every other band that has ever been popular on commercial radio.

I first heard this on WDET (RIP) in Detroit last year and loved it immediately. Thanks for playing it as it brightens my day everytime I hear it.

RP is about quality music, whether it's overplayed on other radio stations or not. That may be unfortunate if you listen to regular radio, but as someone who doesn't, I appreciate hearing artists like Johnson.

That said, I'm not crazy about this song, though I own (and really like) "Brushfire Fairytales"...

Um yeah, Clear Channel picked up one of his songs so now he sucks and so does RP.
