Rebel, Sweetheart - is this an intransitive verb then noun or an adjective and a noun? I keep hearing in my head as the latter - reb-el not re-bel.

Sounds a lot like Darden Smith or maybe it is the other way around.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: This guy is indistinguishable from my homie, Bruce Cockburn.

Melody is very much Cockburn; voice is Jackson Brown.
It's nice!

any song that gives me goosebumps gets a 9, beautiful tune, smooth voice...strange seeing who his dad is (ie. having a smooth voice)

I rated this one a little higher for channeling Peter Gabriel. Overall, I find this band OK. I really never understood all the hype about them. As for Jakob Dylan, he'll be joining a club with Julian Lennon, Dale Berra, GW Bush and others of that ilk one of these days.

this is a great tune ... but I am not sure if it would stand the test of time, being heard repeatedly could make it boring, flat and generic.
but very nice for the time being.

What a beautiful song, I was absolutely struck by the melody and the drums. Have to check out the lyrics. Rated it a 9 for now, could become a 10.

Why would it be good if every song on the album sounds the same? Am I missing something?
I am digging this tune. I don't know that I would enjoy an entire album of it!

I love Jakob Dylan - he has a smooth voice, beautiful lyrics and he's SOOO not bad on the eyes either!

I think that's true. Check out Barbara Taylor Brown's little book, "When God is Silent". Excellent read.

Cool song, by the way.

first tune I've heard from this album. quite frankly I think they've dropped off a great deal but I do like this number and the cover art for the cd is cool.
