Hey look everyone! a wabbit!

For me the lyrics sound like a rewrite of Nirvana's all-timer "On a Plain."

i can hear why some people might compare Ryan to Chris Isaak - they both owe a tip of the hat to Roy Orbison ... Ryan is Northern California, Chris is more South

Its a shame someone compared Ryan to Chris Issak, they are nothing alike. I love the Easy Plateau song. New CD isnt bad at all, but i love his older CD's Heartbreaker and demolition.

Thanks for the tips. I liked this song too - I'll check out his other albums!

I'd actually say the whole cd is quite good. Not the catchiest stuff, but it grows on you.

I'm thinking they sound as if they've got something to do with testicles and Vise-Grips. . . .

This is a great song that's about as far removed from Chris Isaak as you can get.

I won't say this song is terrible, but it's absolutely too long.

This is about the best thing I've heard so far and it seems pretty unremarkable to me.

You are sorely out of touch there, my friend. I doubt he compares himself to Chris Issak. Ever. Or likes MTV. Funny that people seem to think of him as an "MTV artist." Have they ever even played him on that Music-forsaken channel?

That's what I think anyway.

No matter how many times I try, and no matter what song he sings, I just can't get into this Ryan Adams fella at all.

I can't even put a finger on why, but EVERY time his songs come on, I look for the STOP or MUTE button.

I won't rate the song since I've already hit stop.

Yeah, the song itself isn't bad but those background vocals are a crime.

Hey, it has cool pedal steel, and I'm a sucker for that, so we have a winner by default here.....

This guy sings so poorly he makes Neil Young sound like Pavarotti.

Sounds like he's channelling Jerry Garcia in that guitar solo.

I like "Cold Roses", but he sounds like Tiny Tim in this song.

5 on the initial listen, dropped to 4 on the second.

Absolutely love the way the guitar sounds on this and "Cold Roses" kind of early 60's style...

SWEET!

Definitely on the backing vocals...Roy or Grace Slick. ;-)

Likeable tune. Very Dead-esque.
