I felt the same way when I heard similar comments about Carl Palmer from my all time favorite band ELP.
Then I listened harder, and I heard. BUT, and it's a BIG but, Palmer wrote/played some incredible and innovative stuff, so I give him a pass.

After this, we MUST hear ''Iss bad ya know'' by RL Burnside

CORRECTION: ''Outta Space'' by Billy Preston.

UH HUH. These Bohemians...such expansive post-jazzers.
Better dance. Just in case, that is.

This song owes a whole lot to Jean-Jaques Perrey.

Hey, quit torturing those guinea pigs! :o)

Interesting retro sound, very 'Air' and wah-wah, but I'm guessing it was produced fairly recently from the instrumentation. Cool, in the old-fashioned James Bond/Milk Tray Man/Monte Carlo Playboy sense of the word. An interested 6 from the Nottingham jury.

Thanks Mojo.  I was thinking along those lines as well.

I think I'm going to see these guys at ACLFest this year. (Somebody correct me if I'm wrong on that.)

Did Beck sample some of this for  his Odelay album?  Sounds similar...

These guys stink. And yes, Ive seen them. In a room of about 40-50 people.
The concept here(mostly) is good - they just can't pull it off.

I've seen them more than once and I couldn't disagree more. I actually don't understand your problem with the drummer.
