Interesting co-incidence or confirmation of Bill and RP's collective selectivity of my very synaptic meanderings.
Before these last 18 minutes of RP broadcast, I was just listening to BB's Thrill Is Gone on a bluesy rainy Saturday...
and thinking how it made me want to hear this song! even though I'd heard it on my Mini-Shuffle last night...
Some things are just, well, timeless and yet eternal in their synchronicity
and Bill you have
led me Into Temptation once again (Crowded House's gem just came over)
--Bravo!

Well then, according to your definition there are a lot of musicians throughout time who are rip-off artists -- Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Bach, Haydn, and Charpentier not the least among them, so let's not even get started about BB King himself.

This is a fine, fine tune, regardless of what familiar motifs it displays.

I learned a new word today!

(A dramatic, literary, or musical piece openly imitating the previous works of other artists, often with satirical intent.)

Margo's voice, and the wailing blues guitar make this a great, great song!
