It's complicated with this tune... it's great in his own way. Very "gewöhnungsbedürftig". :)

WOOONDERFUL!
FEELINGS pure!
And, frankly, I am no longer surprised, that AMERICA rates such music "6-point-something" while most "old farts" easily reach 7.5!
For me it's a "10" (though I exaggarate 1 point)
PS Completely ridiculous COVER, though! Unbelievable what some desingers produce, and what some bands accept!

I concur as well. 2 Actually, I would've liked it if it were Tool-ish. To me it sounded like a bad Rusted Root cover band. Mind you, there's no such thing as a good Rusted Root cover band let alone a good Rusted Root song. |

Do i detect a 'space' theme going on here? Abit of 'Jane' from jefferson starship would go down well, or 'stairway to the stars' from blue oyster cult, or 'stars die' from porcupine tree

North Shore. Friday Night. Star-filled sky. BIG fire. BIGGER waves. Trippin to the sound of the surf and Kan'Nal... absolute BLISS! And now you follow-on with the Waimanalo Blues — that's it, this day is shot — I'm slipping back in time... THANKS BILL! |

Hell yeah, and that's why it's great. These guys are fabulous in concert, and the hot women in outrageous costumes spinning fire don't hurt, either.

This song is packed so full of hippie-ness that now my speakers are emitting incense and patchouli scents.
I don't know what's worse - the insipid lyrics, or the inane "ha-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la" repeating over and over. At least both match the awful album art in level of suckitude.
I can't give it negative 20 points, so I'll settle for a 1.
