This song gets a one-point bump up for being the first I hear through Octoshape. O, the quality!

Hey Genius, get the lyric right if you are going to throw that crap down. Oh, and after 6 years at Los Alamos, I think I may be at least as good as you in Physics. Pure Genius.....You just crack me up.

It's both repeated and a self-rhyme. Not only that, but the same word appears in a line twice, which is pretty grating. Combine that with the utter lack of any scanning in these lines or melody (or ability to sing same if it was there) and we have a contender for Worst Lyrics EVAR.

What's people's interpretations of the lyrics in this song. The more I hear it the more I hear in it. Sounds to me like it's got a religious context and/or can be interpreted on loads of different levels...

He sounds like Steve Earle's younger, more refined brother. Monotony sets in early.

True, and if this were a case of a word being used to rhyme with itself I'd be upset, but this is a repeated line, which is much more acceptable.

It's nice enough, but any song I hear on RP more than once in a week pisses me right the hell off.

This song feels like a woman running her fingers down my back. Some things are just good with utter abandon. Play this for me any time you like.

Yes! That's the line! Thanks for that, now I understand what this whole "hell" rhyming with "hell" argument on her was about. ;)

Joshie, I'm sorry for rating this so low the first few times I heard it. I've bumped it up to a 9 after ten or so listens on here, do you forgive me??

What sort of stupid comment is that? Hardly surprising from someone who thinks "90 percent of everything is crap" You're only nine percent short of being accurate

He's interviewed in the latest runner's world for those of you who missed it.

I liked this album, but other than Girl in the War, I don't care for this album as much as some earlier ones.
