Every time I go hiking in the Adirondacks, I have to fight for a parking spot because most of the cars are from Quebec.

Every time I ask for directions when I'm in Montreal, EVERYONE ignores me (or swears at me in French) simply because I don't speak French.

French Canadians are (as a whole) an arrogant group.

I don't know Poose, it seems like a lot of bad things come from Montreal other than mass murderers. Like most of its citizens. Hope you are not of that group.

well, this certainly won't help your standing.

I've had nothing but good experiences in Quebec and in Montreal, despite being an Ontarian who doesn't speak a lick of French. In fact, I don't know where you would have encountered that attitude in Montreal... I find abour 80% of the population there can speak English, and I've never felt slighted because I don't speak French.

Quebec is a beautiful place, and generally speaking, the people are great.

I think most of the people who come out of Montreal act like mass murderers. Or at least like assholes.

Actually neither am I after they shit on Frank Robinson

Sure I'm a fan, and a long-time one: I was at the opening Expos game in Parc Jarry, Montréal, in 1969. In fact, I was at Expo 67 in 1967 from which the Expos got their name.

Now that's funny! Good visual of "large & in charge" Ann Wilson busting in....
Like something out of the Young Ones...

They give me a happy, content full belly kind of feeling. I like 'em lots. They stretch me from the Beatles to U2.

You better make up something quick
You gonna burn it out to the wick
