is this song really accurately sung?
I really don't know since Björk also sings like a dying hamster and everybody loves her....

I've honestly listened to this song several times.

And my conclusion is that I don't like it.

Repetitive singsong.

To each his/her own.

To me this sounds like 2 songs that just got pasted together.

Same here. I'd give it a 10, but it gets a point deducted for grammar.

Oh, believe me, if she were a native speaker of English, I'd have been much harsher in my comments.

Grammar aside, this song is growing on me.

reminds me of that Jefferson Airplane song where Grace Slick sings in that jerky style. This song is much better.

I attended a concert of her yesterday evening. Her voice is really that good. I enjoyed it a lot although I cannot listen to her music very often. ;)

One of the pictures I took:

it's always nice when a girl sings about a girl. unless she's singing about herself...but it's still nice.

"Girl laying down" is perfectly grammatical, it just means something different than "girl lying down".

Example: The girl is laying down the law.

Now granted, the transitive verb is missing an object, but nobody complains about that in other cases. For instance, "representing". "I'm representin'" has exactly the same form as (one possible meaning of) "girl laying down". "Girl layin' down, yo!"

Fine - except that "girl *lying* down" is what she's singing.

Great new song from Ms Ternheim. 'No subtle Men' from the new album is even better though!

Laying/lying is a regional variation. Descriptivism! Woo!

I'm willing to overlook the like-nails-on-a-chalkboard grammatical error in the title. This is a pretty cool song.

Hooray, my upload was added!

This is the first single from Anna's newly released album. I have listened briefly, and it is easily as good as its predecessor. Well worth checking out!
