Another excellent entry in a long list of incredible Canadian poets - Neil Young, Gordon Downey, Sarah, Jan Arden, Ian and Sylvia Tyson, Robbie Robertson, Randy Bachman, Jim Cuddy . . . the list goes on. Here's to music that invokes an image!

I like her ... but yes, that shrill at the end is a bit annoying. She hasn't the vocal crank-icity to lay it out like that.

Would love to have Lilith Fair take place here in Halifax!

David Sinclair, I think.

Love this song, but this is not my favorite version. The timing is funky, and keeps one from being able to effectively chair dance.  :(  Still, Sarah is one of my all time favorites, and can really do no wrong in my book.

Was thinking this is a very nice live version of this song, maybe even better than the studio track. Then the guitar solo kicked in. I find guitar solos in her songs hard to take seriously, just because they seem there to create an impression of edginess. Still, this song is beautiful.

C'mon, you're not really serious with a comment like that, are you? You can't possibly confuse those two.

I thought Celine Dion was covering an otherwise decent studio version as well.

I agree! Nice guitar and drum work to give it an edge. Normally, I'm not a live album person, but this is good!
