Love the punk-inspired energy throughout this album.

Just saw them open for The Who awhile back - she can still rock! My favorite Pretenders memory was from 1983 - my buddy in the seat next to mine in the second row got hit in the head by Martin Chambers' drumstick, which he launched into the crowd. My friend was bloodied, but too drunk and happy to care :)

How good is a song when you still LOVE it when you can only decipher about 30% of the lyrics. Now THAT'S Rock & Roll!

No album ... *NO* album ... completely hooked me as quickly as the first Pretenders album. From the moment I heard the first two lines of "Precious" I felt that these guys were something fantastically special. ROCK ON!
