I found this lil Latin Coffee shop in Apalachicola (odd mix, great coffee) which had a full stand of these Putumayo Presents cds...I got so excited and started going through them and bought a few (at way too high a price for my taste). Unfortunately, they didn't have this New Groove, but my efforts landed me a free demo of their other productions.
All in all, great haul. I may have to attempt my first upload, as I love the sound and Bill needs more of it.

Great ALbum, thanks RP!

I bought this album based on hearing this and the Alice Russell Song. LOVE the alice russell song and just saw it on a tv commercial.. This one didn't grow on me as much as some of the others, but I would really recommend the album for it's unique and interesting world music with a nice beat.

I have never heard anything like this before, not even from Bjork. Amazing. Music. Hope RP survives the stupid RIAA thing and gets a chance to introduce me to more incredible music that I will ultimately buy. 10

That is amazing, I have only heard part of this song once a couple of days ago and I rated it a 9...I heard the first 5 seconds, and I was excited to hear it again, but didnt remember when or where I heard it...very good sign, and bumped to a 10 and buying the CD as soon as the song is over, but for now I am going to sit and enjoy.
