Artificial in what way? Any singer's voice is somehow nuanced by influence or feel. You just don't like it is more like it! |

I agree - and I'm so glad to hear someone else say that. And why the heck is this being played every three days?? There's much better music on the RP playlist that's not getting heard at all! |

Ahgh! I had this song stuck in my head for over a week. It was so sticky, I had to sing another song repeatedly to get it to override my brain stall-out.
Now its back, oh heavenly hell!
You know that I'm no goo-oood.

Feh. She looks like a 1960's housewife sneaking out to a "be-in." While I agree that appearance shouldn't really be important compared to a singer's sound, she's doing a crappy look on purpose. Boo. :puke:
I don't like the voice, either. There.

Severely overplayed but catchy as hell. I have to change the station every once in a while when I hear this so I don't get completely burnt out on it.

Sound pretty good if you can clear your head of all that!

Well, she's kicking, but lay some Billie or Ella down, and all the sudden she's not so serious.
I don't mean that as a knock on Amy, just that today's world (at least the West) is much softer and easy than 50 years ago, and music reflects that. That's not such a bad thing. Billie and Ella earned their soul in a hard world.

Who cares, just sit back and enjoy it while it lasts.
If we're lucky she'll continue to put good stuff out, if not, move on. But right now, she's okay in my book. |

There are some great songs on this album, this isn't my favorite though it seems to get all the play. Hate to say it but I'm reaching burnout on this ditty.

Forget the missing tooth and the big hair, 'cause she makes it work. Have you seen all of that tattoo on her arm? That's the creepy right there. Great album though. I've heard it many times at work and usually I get sick of an overplayed album by now. Soon, maybe.
