I adore this track. Has anyone heard the whole disk? Is it all this good?

Don't let your mind get weary and confused
Your will be still, don't try
Don't let your heart get heavy child
Inside you there's a strength that lies

Don't let your soul get lonely child
It's only time, it will go by
Don't look for love in faces, places
It's in you, that's where you'll find kindness

Be here now, here now
Be here now, here now

Don't lose your faith in me
And I will try not to lose faith in you
Don't put your trust in walls
'Cause walls will only crush you when they fall

Be here now, here now
Be here now, here now

This is excellent. Not really in the same league as Nick Drake though. He really was the best!

Sounds very Nick Drakeian. Gorgeous.

First listened to Ray L about two years ago on a local listener supported station and liked the few songs I heard. A friend recently gave me the chance to delve further into both CDs. I think he is fantastic! Keep him coming.

It's got a very beatles sound to it,

When he does it live it's spine tingling.

Awesome live performer, a genius in the making.

If you haven't seen him live, do so.

You will not be disappointed.

I'd like to, bur unfortunately he seems to leave out Germany or I'm too stupid to find the correct tourdates on his website...

7:38 am - Ray LaMontagne - Be Here Now
7:33 am - Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water
7:30 am - Death Cab For Cutie - Your Heart Is an Empty Room

it's late afternoon here, I wonder what song is next, but these three tell me to go home and curl up on the sofa with a book and glas of red wine... very nice!

Me, too. I can't remember where I started but I've finally upped it to a 10. It has really grown on me.
