The band's name comes from a song by the same title written by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, recorded on their '67 lp, Gorilla.

I also like this extended version. I didn't think it was Death Cab For Cutie, so I was a bit disappointed when the singer kicked in and I recognized the song.

I really want to like this band, but I would never buy anything from a band with a stupid name like Death Cab for Cutie.

This song sounds an awful lot like LCD Soundsystem. Especially the vocals.

just got back from san diego. they have an fm station that plays this song an awful lot with only about 45 seconds of intro. i don't usually like death cab at all, but i'm into this song. is this a good representation of what the rest of this album sounds like?
