Love the cover art.  It was their background at the concert I saw in October.  This one was pretty cool live.  Draws you in.

Nice.

When I saw them in 2006, they had little munchkin houses on stage.

Reminded me of a miniature Stonehenge.

When I hear this song, I always feel as if it were coming from Dwight from The Office.

I generally like DCFC, but this riff just isn't interesting enough to play for a decade (or a geological era, or whatever that was). I feel cobwebs growing between my ears.

I wish Poe's "Wild" would get the same treatment!

Bloody brilliant observation.  Amazing how subversively influencial Joey & the boys have been...

Reminds me of old Simple Minds.
Like "Sons and Fascination / Sister feeling call "
Great atmosphere!
I really like the guitar parts that's traveling around the bass line.

Agreed, agreed.  Only on Internet radio will someone bother to play the real deal.  Thanks Bill!

I like it. It reminds me of Spiders (Kidsmoke) by Wilco. It takes its time.

Record producer guy: Ok guys, we have, like ten minutes to fill on the new album, any ideas?

Singer guy: I have about twelve syllables that I am like, totally in love with, I could just sing them over and over for ten minutes.

Bass player guy: I have this little bass line that is exactly twelve beats long. I can easily play it for 10 minutes.

Singer guy: Excellent, let's wrap this thing up so I can go home and bang my super hot actress wife, Gwyneth.

Bass player guy: Er, dude, that's not your wife, that's the Coldplay guy.

Singer guy: Are you sure?

Bass player guy: Yep.

Singer guy: I am always getting us confused.

Bass Player: Everyone does.

Singer guy: Do you think I could fool Gwyneth?

Bass player guy: Prolly not. Maybe if you sing to her in the dark.

Singer guy: Somebody get my agent on the phone.

{#Roflol} I just love a good bad review. Well worth the repeated bump {#Roflol}. And I write that as someone who likes Death Cab and this song, including the massively long intro which must piss a lot of RP listeners off. 7 from the Nottingham jury (and 9 for the review :))

YES.

This is what drew me to the band. There is NO rush to satisfy the 3 minute norm. Like "Hey Jude" or "Low Spark of High Heeled Boys" it just defines the groove and sits there comfortably.

I think this is rather nice; not great but certainly not worth all the negative comments it seems to be getting.  I hate their stupid name though.

Yes this song is vaguely stalkerish, and the whole album is a little angsty and melodramatic, but I still love DCFC! I really don't mind the intro, in fact i can't listen to radio edits anymore because i miss the build  up.   {#Good-vibes}
