I am not surprised that this followed CSN Suite-Judy Blue Eyes but after half way into this song I wondered why it wasn't Ohio instead.

Sure, everyone says they sound like CSN, and this playlist proves it. But doesn't the lead singer also sound a little like the Boss? It's the smooth/rough combo that's intrigueing.

Caught these guys on a David Letterman show the other day...and was gratified that I'd heard 'em on RP, FIRST, and no less gratified to think how many times that's happened! Bill and Rebecca and Co. HOW DO YOU DO IT? AND THANKS!

This whole CD is wonderful, especially on a hot day. Put it in, turn it up and cool down.

Aww, blast. I was totally looking forward to hearing this song again — and then it comes on! And I'm excited! But then my phone rings. . .and it's my wife. . .and she talks to me for exactly how long this song lasts. ARGH. Next time, my pretty.. ..next time. . .

That's totally apparent. At least this one is better than some of their other songs. Bet they'd be HOT in Iceland! |

I thought this was possibly something from Band of Horses I didn't yet know about... sounds nice and familiar somehow, and reminds me of olden golden days...

Well, the muddy, off-key singing and amateur production quality is starting to wear on me. 6->4 and dropping fast.

Yeah, gotta agree. These guys seem to me to be anything BUT derivative. Doesn't make any sense to me! |

Pretty much everything - smarmy lyrics, plodding pace, overwrought harmonies, terrible production. . . its like MMJ on 'ludes.
I saw them at Sasquatch '08 and they were lame in person, sounding very much like this cut (production flaws included).

When I listen to the new release, I hear Simon and Garfunkel in there too, which is a good thing. |
