Interesting… using the initials of their surnames to form the acronym (Julie King, Claude Ginsberg, Doug Bartley). It’s been done with KGB before however—with the “supergroup” comprised of Ray Kennedy, Barry Goldberg and Mike Bloomfield (along with Rick Grech and Carmine Appice). Funny thing is, if you click the album cover image the link brings up albums by both groups. The first album (by the original KGB) shows a release date of 2005 which, although probably correct, is misleading: the album first came out in 1976. So don’t buy it thinking that you’re getting an earlier album by the group that performs this fine song on RP. To dig deeper into the topic of the original group try the very good read at Suite 101. Also follow the interview link (Terry Reid with Mike Bloomfield) to get to the core of the matter—it appears that KGB was disintegrating before their album was even released. If you were born in the 70’s or later some of the names may not mean much without more research but older farts like me may find it entertaining. I vaguely remembered the album cover artwork (probably from a review I once read) but I can’t seem to remember ever hearing any cuts from the album. Not sure I want to anymore… |

That's perfect. I have to admit this is a personal favorite. It should be the soundtrack for the game Syberia, another guilty pleasure. |

Only when dealing with them by the ones and twos... it's the horde that you have to worry about. |

I'm bumping this from 7 to 8 because of the hysterically-funny comments! Businessgypsy - you really need to write a screenplay. You have a very scary-good talent for the macabre...
And I want to know how anyone knows zombies are easy to kill. I'm building a survival team for when this world finally breathes its last, and I'll warn you right now - my cooking is good, but I don't know how well I'll provide with canned green beans and the "food to be named later." Expert knowledge of firearms required. Medical background preferred.
