First time I hear it. Surprised by the energy it brings to me. I give it a seven, high score for first hearing. It will probably increase next time.

Hmmm not sure how I feel about this one, that is a great guitar mix though. For some reason I already had this one rated 4 ... may have been a misclick ... I'll go ahead and bump it up to 6 'til next listen.

Just look in the mirror next time. From time to time a photographer will think he's being terribly original and release a series of stills showing people's faces as they climax. This has been done 3-4 times. I remember that song, back when groups could actually overdo an emphasis on sex. The Knack had the reputation of being overheated and quickly annoying. |

Another happy-sounding, yet creepy ditty. Although, "I Think I'm Turning Japanese" is not necessarily creepy, albeit a stoner's anthem. |

Cynaera wrote: This song is actually hysterically funny to me. Maybe it's because I have more important things about which to be freaked... I see you nearly everyday. I see you, but you don't see me. I wish I had something clever to say. And I wish I had something better I could be.We touched hands by the coffee machine the other day. I know you've forgotten already, But I'm gonna take that moment to the grave. To the grave. Cuz I just wanna walk you home. I just wanna walk you home. Oh, yea. I see you nearly every night. I see you when you're down in your house. With my night vision binoculars I creep quiet as a mouse. And I get jealous when I see you stroking his hair. But it's okay, I tell myself 'cause I know It's only I'm not there. I'm not there. Cuz I just wanna walk you home. I just wanna walk you home. Well I just need some time alone. I just need some time alone. I'm the boy who watches the phone. I'm the boy who eats lunch on his own. I'm the boy with the monotone. I'm the boy who still lives at home. I'm the boy with the ironed shirt. I'm the boy who watches you work. I know where you keep your skirts. I know where your secrets lurk. I'm the boy that's calling your house. I'm the boy that's freaking you out. With my thermal flask of tea. Up there in your neighbor's tree. I'm the boy that's crossing borders. I'm the boy with social disorders. I'm the boy with restraining orders. I'm the boy, yeah. Cuz I just wanna walk you home. I just wanna walk you home. And I know that's it not right to creep. But I just wanna watch you sleep alone. Cuz I just wanna walk you home. I just wanna walk you home. I think "Exciteable Boy" by Warren Zevon would have fit nicely after this one. Come to think of it, Bill could do an entire "psycho-set" with this song, Exciteable Boy, Psycho-Killer, and Digging In The Dirt.... That'd pretty much guarantee that I'd never sleep again. and DCFC's i will possess your heart. |

I never listed to the lyrics until Bill's intro just now pointed out the song is happy and creepy. Well worth paying attention to, that was entertaining.

Yeah, the lyrics are creepy - but to add a bit of realism NVG's (Night Vision Gear - that's what they are usually called) are not the best thing for spying on people in the way that I suppose a stalker would. I use NVG's occasionally at work so I am familiar with them. The images are great for finding someone sneaking up on you, but the image is lousy - more like a photo negative. So it would seem that the lyrics are the product of imagination and not experience. In this case, that's a really good thing!
