Ohhh, Lordy! What a great album! We used to jam on this one! "Busting Out For Rosie" and "Post Toastee" are my personal favorites. What a shame, Tommy crashed and burned. But, like Edna St. Vincent Millay said: "My candle burns at both ends; / It will not last the night; / But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends – / It gives a lovely light!" RIP, brother. You rocked the house. |

Ah, a favorite from my college DJ days - and also one of my favorite album covers.
Don't you miss those wonderful 12 inches of space - CD covers just don't do it.

I wonder if Supertramp heard this (George Harrison style) before Bloody Well Writing "Crime of the Century"?

Wow! A late night staple at our college radio station.....KCOU at Mizzou. Long enough to run outside for a quick hit.....and come back in to that jammin guitar ending.....

Actually, he was from Sioux City, Iowa, but did move to Boulder after he refused to cut his hair in high school. |

Oh My Goddess! I've not heard this since, Jeezus, something like thirty years ago! Listened to this all the time when I was in college back in the Before Time. A definate trip down mammory lane.

Tommy was such an underrated guitarist. Check out his work on Billy Cobham's "Spectrum" CD, or his first solo CD, "Teaser." Great work all around! And he was from Iowa to boot.

Great to have my upload added! The first song on the playlist from Tommy Bolin's Private Eyes LP/CD. Awesome choice.
