everything this guy does sounds like Petty.  Except Petty's a talented songwriter!

What musical precision?

For that matter, what music?

Dam it!, I was preparing a proposal to the administration at Princeton to  start teaching a class this fall on musical analysis, and I was going to use this Cracker album as the focal point of the course. Because of your post, I'm now having second thoughts.....perhaps it's for the better. {#Confused}

I know what time it is.

It's time this song ended instead of repeating the same thing over and over and over.

.....and over.

Looking at the rating and the comments, I can understand the hum-drum reaction to this song. So what if it's nothing special and even bordering on annoying there at the end... the thing still just flat out rocks. Sorry, can't help but turn it up every time. Guilty pleasure, I guess.

Amen.

But it's not a guilty pleasure to me - just a pleasure. This sound makes daddy and mommy rock good.

Great tune, but has anyone managed to work out whether they're talking about Brett Favre, Brett Michaels or Brett Somers?
