OK, I admit that this isn't one of their best songs, but the Old 97s are a fantastic band. They are absolutely ferocious live! Go see them any chance you get or try their live CD set "Alive and Wired" - it's in constant rotation on my iPod.

People. I fell in love with this band because of this album.  Hundreds of plays, People. And this is one of the top songs. Really, its better in context of the whole album. |

Saw these guys open up at a festival back in 1996/97 - put on a pretty good show, especially for the middle of the afternoon outside in the Houston summer... but never got any of their albums.
Decent song but nothing special imo... probably a good 6. From what I remember of the older stuff, live at least, a bit more raw, not as poppy.
