I can't believe that "old man" voice comes out of such a young, punk-ass lookin' young Scotsman! |

Paolo Nutini is, for many, an acquired taste. I thought his vocal style was weird and very affected at first... but quickly warmed to him after hearing more of his music. Perhaps you should listen to more of his stuff. Personally, I think he's very creative and brings a lot of passion and expressiveness to his music. I give this an 8. steve |

Has Bill put together a whole new collection tonight?? First time I've heard the last 17 songs. Love RP. This one is a 7. |

You can iron your own shirts???? True confession: I do not own an iron. If it can't be washed, dried, and worn, it doesn't exist in my wardrobe. I think the biggest mistake you ever made was posting your confession on an RP forum. Oh - and I really like this song - the kid's too damned cute to be credible, but who knows? He might age gracefully... |

Don't need convincing. Still enjoy it. |

Same kind of terrible bittersweetness as in Prine's "Donald and Lydia". Haunting.

Yep.. I really like this one. |

I don't hear Burl Ives as much as latter day CSNY. I like the tune and think people are being too hard on it.

Not sure, but somehow this has grown on me. (I do hear the Burl Ives thing too)
Also I wonder how a collaboration between Paolo, Eddy Vedder & Stevie Nicks would sound...lol
