Sorry you do not like the Beach Boys.  I don't like Aerosmith but I fail to see how either of these facts have anything to do with Band of Horses cause I know you weren't trying to compare this lame band with the Beach Boys, right.......right??{#Eek}

Love this group, especially this fine album. But somethings been gnawing at me about their name. Technically speaking, their name should be "A Team, Stable, or Harras of Horses" because that's what the scientific term is. You could also call them "A Stud of Horses" if they were all owned by a single person.

In Nature, or on a farm, horses simply don't band together as if to fight a common foe nor would they pick up instruments and begin playing a recognizable tune with their hooves?
