LOL! For a moment I thought this song was BY TRAIN and was called Younger Brother. I kept going, "No no, that can't be right..."
Now I have a new obsession. Younger Brother, very very cool.

This entire CD is an absolute marvel of great music. The 3 standout tracks are Shine, Train, and Slipping into Place, but there is no track on here that I don't like. Get it.

'Kinell! I couldn't have put it better myself, at least not without the aid of pyschotropic substances. Nice one |

I've just been on long train journeys in Europe, to and from Sweden via Denmark and Germany, and I can identify with song even more after that experience. There's nothing like seeing the world "flashing past" to get you thinking about your life, what you can do with it, and all the places you'd just love to go whilst you still can. A rare 10 from the goose-bumped Nottingham jury, and a big thank you to RP for introducing me to this band. From the Wikipedia entry on Younger Brother: "The band's name is taken from a Kogi prophecy; the Kogi regarded themselves as the Older Brother and say that the destruction of the Earth and environment would be by Westerners called Younger Brother." Like, heavy stuff, dude :o) |

I always hear: "Except that I'm the one unable to move the pommes machine."
"Pommes" (pɔmˈmɘs) is derived from the French "pommes frites" and a German slang term for french fries. Now it's impossible to listen to this song ever again ;-)

OK coloradojohn, You just mentioned a couple of names of bands that I don't know. And I suspect I would enjoy. Doppler Shift, Essence.... So little time, so much music. |
