WOOOW - is that terrible!!! And ultra-boring!
And what is the "dark side of the moon" anyway? That side where Americans pretended to have landed on the moon, maybe? That story was as bad as the music you are listening too right now, some of you with tears in your eyes, I assume! Laughable!

Where did this comment come from? Just out of the blue? Most guitar themes are playable enough (after enough practice). Thinking them up is the hard part... Didn't do that yet, did you? Sorry, just amazed by this... |

I had to come in to work today. Listening to RP always makes it easier. Listening to Pink Floyd on RP makes it enjoyable. Thanks so much. I wonder what people think of the "Immersion" box set — I've not looked at comments, so I'll go do that now.

Live Floyd is a rare treat for me. Was just out of HS when Darkside was released and still have that disc on vinyl (likely 2nd or third replacement! ) and have seen them live only once, which was great. Almost 40 years later now..and I don't much care for alot I listened to back then... but always a joy to hear PF, and especially great to hear something I'd not heard before !!!
If not for RadioParadise I'd never know of some of the rare gems like what you just played. Made my morning !! Thank you (-: This is pretty much one of the finest bands playing their finest track ever. I have heard it performed live, but I love the fidelity. Awesome. Thanks, RP. |

Playing the whole album- what a great format! Reminds me of FM radio in Austin in the 70's. Makes me want to turn up the volume and turn out the lights.

BTW, wasn't it YOU who told me to "go home to listen to the CD" in your original post?...who gave YOU the authority?
Bottom line, regardless of how often Us and Them/Eclipse is heard from the studio version, this is much different!! It's an opp to hear a live cut from a '74 show just after, what was soon to be one of the best LP's of all time, was released. A rare treat for many of us!!! I wasn't there for it, and I'll guess from your ignorance, you weren't a twinkle in your parents eye at the time....
...however, I will work on my spelling; I think typing slower will help!! Typing slower helps - I often get pretty sloppy when typing too fast as well. I haven't any ignorance of Pink Floyd or most music genres, at all, I'm just tired of a lot of their stuff (perhaps from overexposure to bad radio stations or 8-track players), and I was quite alive in 1974 - far from a twinkle - and I had listened to Pink Floyd throughout middle and high school - in the 1970's. We can all change the station when a tune we don't care to hear comes on, and honestly, I won't be going to a C&W or rap venue very often. It's likely that you and I probably listen to a lot of the same artists anyhow, and I re-live the 70's myself sometimes. Anyhow, rock on! Sorry if the prior posts seemed a little heavy-handed. |

What makes you think I am doing anything to prevent you, or the rest of your so-called "MAJORITY", from enjoying this song, and what makes you believe you have any sort of authority to tell me to go away?!
