Perfect, she gets me in a perfect state of mind the more I listen to her. Seen her live in Düsseldorf Germany, and she is a sweet girl as well. Seems her voice follows the music in a slow mystical way, mmm.

snitramc wrote:She's the Thomas Kinkade of chanteuses. 1st Prize for Best Comment. Beautiful woman, somewhat interesting voice that could get better with training. But the lyrics, the overblown arrangement, the whole marketing of Lana—someone needs to fire the committee that foisted all of this on us. |

So this is Lana Del Rey? Huh, for some reason I thought she'd be taller. |

Just give her a fair shake, people. Give her a chance. This chick has talent. Not great talent, granted. But talent, nonetheless.
(no, I don't mean literally grabbing her by the shoulders and shaking the crap out of her, though I think that is what most would like to do)

LOVE this song. In fact, I love the whole album. It wasn't love at first hear, though. It was a slow growing love. Another awesome track on the album is "Radio" (number 9, I believe). Would love to hear that on RP!

This is not a really bad song compared to 90% of what I heard on the radio when the lads came to build my fireplace....well...what I heard on the radio when the lads came to build my fireplace was 8 hours a day of exactly the same pop crap, so....damning with faint praise? I didn't want to, really.

Well, she has this 'thing' about her with that vocal. Quite compelling. The message ... could be a little more upbeat (!)
