The crowd seems to think along the same lines....look at that rating distribution!  One of the most lop-sided on RP!  Deservedly so, too, I might add!

OK, so some of us aren't 18  anymore, and we like our tunes from back in the day, we can still make the moves without chemical assistance. Please show us some love. I mean, Lord have mercy. This was a high school favorite, and I did wear out the original version that I had. {#Bananajam}

I believe, for a time in the very early 70s, this band was one of the finest on the planet.

I find the release dates listed as odd.

Original Release Date: 10/14/1997
This Version Release Date: 03/13/1992

Anyway, a great friend of mine is David Goldflies. Former bass player with the Allman Brothers. Began playing with them in 1979. Great person. Someone I am glad is a part of my life.

One of my all time favorite covers of this awesome tune! Thank You T-Bone Walker for creating such a masterpiece that never gets stale time and time again.

Had it not been for the Brits like Clapton,J. Beck,
John Mayall,The Yardbirds,Ten Years After,THE STONES
as Keith Richards and the likes of The Band, Little Feat,and the Allmon Bros. turned the world onto great Black Blues musicians like Robert Johnson, King of the Mississippi Delta blues with music like "Crossroads," Bessie Smith and Leadbelly, then on down the line to Sunnyboy,J.P. Johnson, Muddy, Howlin Wolf, rolling into B.B and Robert Cray. Can't forget Chuck Berry, and please don't talk while I'm listening to Stevie Ray Vaughn (colorblind).
How can so much Blues make anyone so damn happy ?
The Allmon Bro.'s were just another outstanding outsourcing of Black Blues. Then there was Winters, that goofy Albino guy and.........*
