Funny about this song, I had never heard it before (that I could remember, anyway), and I discover that it's the song that the local radio station plays at the beginning of every San Jose Sharks' game broadcast. This song comes on and they play it over and over and over until the broadcast starts. They will literally play it five times in a row with nothing in between until the broadcast starts. Who knows why they do it, maybe it's the remote guys playing it while they get everything ready, but it means I've gotten the opportunity to hear this song so many times that it's now a joke between my wife and I. Whenever we're tuning in for a Sharks' radio broadcast, we start singing the song, like Pavlov's dogs.
And despite all this I still kind of like the song. And it's a lucky thing that it's a classic rock station. If it were another format, it would be too strange.
