When they're good, they're good. When they're bad, they suck!

I don't guess I have heard a whole hoard of Cowboy Junkies, but this seems to be the most up-tempo one I am aware of.

Believe it or not these guys have a hard rock pedigree ...sort of....The band was formed by three siblings (Margo, Michael, and Peter) from the Timmins family. The Timmins siblings are descendants of Noah Timmins, a mining prospector who founded the Ontario city of Timmins. Shania Twain is also from Timmins as is Bruce Watson, guitarist with Scottish rock band Big Country.

Wow, this would even bore my grandmother.  It sounds dated and half-hearted.

The Boring Monkeys, as I term them, cannot find a way to break out of their soporific lonesome whipoorwill mold they are in. Margo, as gorgeous as you are, try SCREAMING a few times to see how it feels.

This is sort of a tough one.  I have this cd, and I enjoy the cut, but I also agree with the comment on them being stuck in a mold.  If one hears the CJs too frequently, it just all rolls into one long 'when will this ever end, how could I possibly have ever liked this?'

Interesting... considering they are a Canadian prairie band.  LOL!

I thought they grew up in Montreal and later moved to Toronto. Not prairie towns :)  Nor rural southern either, as was previously suggested. Then again, the world is pretty homogeneous these days.

I'm not a huge CJ fan, although from the amount of airplay they get, clearly RP is, but this is a decent song from their best album. {#Cool}
