Saw Little Feat a bunch of time with Lowell George and only twice with Craig Fuller.  I loved Pure Prairie League and saw them a few times.  But I just couldn't get into Fuller in Little Feat.  George went to Join Zappa in the big hereafter way too early.

Great tune. Reminds me of the old BBC 70's music show "Old Grey Whistle Test". Great show. probably had the New York Dolls on after the Little Feat boys.

Nice one. I usually put 'university of life. . . still attending'.

Of course someone will notice, you will have made someone smile in a grey office cube somewhere and make them realise they have wasted their life and have them stand up and shout "I'm not going to take this any more!" and walk out to a new existence.

I was just listening to this yesterday and was thinking this is the definitive Lowell George song. Perfect cartoon conciousness, cracked mosaic composition and superb slide work. Not to mention his soulful singing. He's the man to meet.

Lowell had the best slide around!

Two degrees in be-bop,
a PHD in swing
He's the master of rhythm
he's a rock and roll king . . .
