Never gets old. I've commented on some songs on RP that I have heard 10,000 times in my life and enough is enough. I've heard this more than that and it will never get old! Bring on another 10,000!

This is a classic! There's a really awesome version of it with Dave Grohl on Drums, and Taylor Hawkins on vocal - and then of course John Paul Jones on bass and Jimmy Page on guitar!!! It's on Youtube for the curious.

I agree with some of the other posters. I grew up liking this song, this song deserves an 8 at least with regards to it's out and out rocking and rolling vibe, but I have heard this song probably 1000+ times over the course of my life, and there are at least 30 other Zep songs I'd rather hear right now, so I'm just not going to give it a rating.
But I still listened to it.

Do you suppose there are people who hate rock and roll and don't know it ? Perhaps catholic school, drunken parents, their only vehicle was a Rambler, horrible breath, involuntary virginity, what ? what ? WHAT !!! could be the variable that would cause 2.1% of listeners who rated this, to give this song a one (1) ? "Get thee to a nunnery ! " |

How can 16 people rate this a "1"?
Seriously?
Oh yeah.......... that is 16 people in THE ENTIRE WORLD. Pretty miniscule, actually. There are more serial killers in the world than that.

Turn this one up to 11! My band used to play this. I managed a passable performance on the guitar solo. I think.
