He has been putting out one LP a year since 67 and not a bad one in the bunch (IMHO). How does he do it?

Not necessarily my favorite song from this disk, but overall this is an excellent and probably overlooked VM album.... well worth picking up if you're a fan. There's a great remake of "Gloria" with John Lee Hooker also.

Rulebritannia, I think you are a deviant when it comes to timeless musicians...I have read some other of your comments..IMHO

Yes, Shana is her first name. I caught her show at the Flora-Bama several years ago and I was just blown away by this girl. It was not until only about six months ago that I found out it was his daughter. Apparently she doesn't want to glom off her father's fame. I bought a CD at the show and have just about worn the thing out.

Hi everybody. Couldn't think of a better song to post my first comment in RP! Van Morrison is one of the few real geniuses out there still recording wonderful stuff, after all these years. Go Van!!!!!

Two sides of the same coin if you ask me.

I remember an interview in which Van was saying that listening to Dylan inspired him to continue his career, when he came to a point that he was really fed up with the whole music business. He also called Dylan the greatest, still living poet.
