I always thought that Van's voice had a distinct Porky Pig feel to it in this song.  I still love it, but I still see Porky in my mind.

I met him and his publicist in a hotel 5 years ago,  no one has made such a bad impression on me since.  He really just thinks that he is one of the last great stars in our time and should be revered as royalty.    i wouldnt pi55 on him if he were burning.    

I also met proper royalty and they were charming.

This is why I like RP so much, mixing old favorites with some new, and more obscure sounds seem to leave me rediscovering songs like this.  Sort of puts a new shine on these great tunes.
 

Great song. I have to disagree with commenters who don't think this is RP material. Just about any of Van Morrison's music would not be out place here.

This song VERY  much applies today, as it's October, the leaves are falling, and there is still some moonlight left from the full moon we just had.

Sorry but RP can do better... this may be "timeless" etc. but deeeaymn how many times has this song pounded my ear drums?  its like one of the most popular songs of all time on the radio... not paradise in my book.
