Inspired by the Pretenders' 1982 song "Back on the Chain Gang", Selena's brother and music producer A.B. OMG ?!?!?! Really ?!?!?!Just because something has nostalgia doesn't mean that we should slow it down and add strings! this isn't clever re-envisioning, just shlockey & hokey! I can't think of anything I'd like to hear LESS than this version of this song again.

I saw her a year or so ago, and, near the end of a great show, made my way from my seat right up to the front of the stage, standing with a horde of others, most of whom were much younjger. As I was trying to position myself to be as close to Chrissie as possible and within her direct line of vision, I was elbowed aside by a couple of teenage girls.
Missed my opportunity. Again.
