Not bad, not great...kind of middle ground for Tori Amos. There's some other stuff of hers I like considerably more than this...but it's fine. She reminds me of the type of person that wouldn't engage in a superficial or shallow conversation. Everything would have real purpose or philosophy to it. Hmmm....

Just as I'm starting to come around to Tori (new album)  — this song hits me and all that progress is undone!!

Love the song, but can somebody tell me what the producer had in mind with that odd sound effect during the chorus, please?

Perfect example of early Tori, but these days if we want to listen to a Kate Bush derivative we have the much more creative Joanna Newsom.

Still one of my favorite Tori Amos songs, was great live also...

Now this has me thinking of another 1980's song: Sanctify Yourself.

I make no apologies for loving this song as much as I do.

This song encapsulates why some of us love Tori so much.  Deliciously angsty.

Her songs reveal very personal, intimate experiences and feelings which few people are willing to share.  As a man, I learn things about women from her music that I didn't know before.
