9:45 pm - Rosanne Cash - The Wheel
9:41 pm - King Crimson - Eyes Wide Open

Really great song sequencing based on the guitar work in each track. Never, ever woulda connected these two tracks myself. Inspired!

Sucko-barfo is the perfect comment for this song. This is crappy saccharine suburban folk country diluted and distilled for mindless soccer moms driving their minivans!
And I am a mom who drives a minivan but mindless I AM NOT!

Yeah, Johnny Cash was just a talentless, voiceless, soulless old man with no redeeming musical abilities. RIP Johnny!

Agreed...I've owned "The Wheel" since the CD came out back in 1993 or so and that tire commerical just makes me cringe. :P

That "circular" guitar riff (that's how it's credited in the liner notes!) that Steuart Smith does here is incredible.

Sounds like he's been listening to the Freddy Jones Band 8).

Why isn't she a bigger star? Her "Rules of Travel" CD that came out last year is outstanding!!! No justice in tehmusic world...

Actually, no. Roseanne's mother is not the late June Carter Cash. Roseanne Cash is the daughter of Johnny Cash and his first wife, Vivian Liberto. Her parents separated when she was very young. She grew up with her mother in California.

I never knew that the tire version was just a crappy cover of this tune until I just heard Roseanne Cash's original a moment ago. I thought some underpaid jingle guy wrote it for BS. I like this original 8)
