I surprised myself by liking this one. Something about his funky voice, the odd lyrics and pared down feeling of the song just strikes a chord with me. Go figure...

Boy, this really pains me to say, but (to use a phrase from "Last Great American Whale") stick a fork in him, he's done. Lou's career has been stellar, but it doesn't sound like he has anything left to say and no creative way to say it. Thanks for the memories, Lou. Retire. You deserve it.
