Just because it's Hallowe'en and the song has "Devil" in the title doesn't mean it should be on the playlist.
C'mon Ray, how about a tune!

I dunno, this type of music doesn't have any peaks and valleys to me (and sounds like one of Dylan's 'dreams') and so it doesn't need to be any longer than 2 min to get the point across.

True, it's forced in places, but the message comes through nonetheless. Props for his passion.

Okay, but not amazing. With a few changes to the lyrics, I think it'd be a more solid song. Yes. Exactly. It's a little forced in places, what with mention of right wing Christian conservatives and all. But terrific fun, nonetheless. |

Call it an homage. I don't think he's trying to fool anyone. Besides, Dylan's style started off as a very close "ripoff" of Woody Guthrie, one that he acknowledged openly. So the cycle goes on. Enjoy. |

Funny, I'm not that fond of "Choctaw Bingo", I find the repitition in that one, though similar to this song, to be too boring and plodding (which, given the subject matter of the song, is probably intentional). |
