I hereby formulate AgentOrange's law:
The band or artist most often played on Radio Paradise is that band or artist which most irritates/annoys/bothers you.
Which can also be formulated thusly:
Each listener perceives that the band they most object to is played more often than other bands, regardless of the number of actual plays of that band.
If you follow the Now Playing lists as closely as I have for the past four years, I believe you will find that Radiohead is far and away the most played artist here. When In Rainbows came out I did keep track —— there was seldom a six hour block that didn't have at least one RH, um, piece, sometimes two. Ugh. I would also guess that the next most plays go to Pink Floyd, Dylan, Talking Heads/David Byrne, The Beatles/Lennon, and Porcupine Tree, although maybe not in that order. While I'm here, I think this tune is one from a long list of The Who's classics. |

Keith Moon. Wayward drumming at its best. I don't know about you but I can see him now in my minds eye, being a loon and having a great time.

I remember when I first heard this song - I was still in high school, which accounts for why I didn't think it was particularly profound, or even very good, at the time. I love the song now, and I'm glad I finally grew up and learned to appreciate a more diverse soundset. I guess with age comes the whole "not-letting-things-fly-under-your-radar" concept. But I still don't understand Emo Phillips... |

Definitively NOT their best tune but, well, it's The Who anyway.
Thank you, Bill!

Actually, Bill is , in fact, the only remaining DJ who *isn't* computer generated. At least his playlists aren't. Tom Petty even wrote a song about him. |

I agree. The Who were a rock band but not a traditional one. Going off on a tangent was part of their attraction for me. It didn't always work but I think it does here. |

With the Jew's harp introduction, I knew it had to be either The Who or something from a Snoopy cartoon.
