I know I'll be echoing a lot of other RP listeners when I say, "what an awesome" record.  Manassas was simply great and all too short lived.

Oh, gosh, I'm so happy this sadly forgotten album is getting some airplay all these years later.

Album is a definite 10. This song just about a 9.

Would love to hear 'The Treasure (Take One)' from this album on RP

STILLS-minus-drugs had been a mega-star!

MANASSAS was a great band, but when I recently saw (and heard) STILLS (with C,S & N) is was shocking and sad what times had made out of this once great musician!

Stills sounds good...I was trying to be serious and funny at the same time. Did it work?

You're right.  Though I've heard it called Stephen Stills and Manassas.

I loved Stills with Manassas. I had this on 8-track (?!) and wore it out .  Recorded it from vinyl onto cassette from a friend's turntable.  I have yet to get it either on CD or MP3, but it's on my list...

Meanwhile, it's SO good to hear it here on RP - thanks to whoever submitted it, and to Bill and Rebecca for playing it! Now - where'd I put  my  tie-dyed headband? {#Music}{#Sunny}

There were about 40 people inside that little club.
We sat 8 feet away from them.
We got to go in the back and meet them both after they played.

It was the best "concert" I've ever been to.

That's a trip, I saw Chris Hillman with SHF (Souther, Hillman, Furay) at Mt. Union College in northeast Ohio after their self-titled album came out. there were only 2, i believe the 2nd was 'Trouble in Paradise'. I believe part of that Manassas rhythm/percussion section (Lala, Samuels, Harris) played with them. They opened with 'Fallin in Love' and we were on our feet the whole show....maybe 300 people in a small auditorium....ahhh memories!
