The worst song ever written.

I'd rather eat glass while listening to Willie and Julio sing To All The Girls I've Loved Before, followed by Paul Anka singing Havin My Baby.

Absolutely f**king horrendous.

funny how someone can hate so much what another loves.

i think it's a classic and find it hard to call "the worst song ever written" when so many like it.

this is a terribly horrible song:puke:, but the lounge singer, Richard Cheese does a wonderful big band jazz version of it!

Though I'd heard that part of the song, I always thought I heard it wrong since, beyond needless, it's so very useless. Radiohead's intended audience may comprise the young or poorly educated -- people who need to sprinkle their speech with empty emphasizers due to an inability to select more expressive words. The songwriter certainly lacks the ability.

I don't think I've ever heard the "radio version" since, in my country, there's never any need to filter English-language lyrics. (You should hear the foreign rap songs aired in Burger King.) But frankly, I'd never heard of Radiohead until I started listening to Radio Paradise, so I'm not even sure they're played here.

I love the sound this song has ... its like being hit with a tidal wave of sound and then lifted gently by his voice and put down softly

Very nice

Well that's just too bad. =P Myself, I am amazed at the beauty of the usage of the F word in this song. Thank GOD someone has the guts to play the real version!

This is clearly a modern musical masterpiece. Naysayers must be exclusively classic-rock over-the-air radio station listeners.

The accoustic version has a more subtle appeal with the except of some minor 'high-note' reaching on Mr. York's part.

Off topic, but I feel sorry you feel Vai is not a musician... There are plenty of technically skilled soulless guitarists out there, but Vai is definitely not one of them.

Okay, point well made. I'll have to check him out. 'Technically skilled soulless guitarists' (and the criticism of great musicians who don't have text-book technique) is exactly what I was getting at.

Lousy guitar playing? Nothing quite like the 'ker-chunk' in this song has ever been heard before or since...it's brilliant guitar playing! Johnny Greenwood - a musician; Steve Vai - not a musician.

I play piano, not guitar. To my ears, it sounds appropriate for the style of grunge that I'm familiar with. Criticizing it for being poorly played ignores what a well-written song it is. I give it a 9 for a beautiful melody and the honest lyrics.

this album is so underrated. i can't believe all the people that talk about radiohead on this site always leave this out of their list of rh albums they own. you're really missing out.

I have the album, but IMHO this song sticks out so high above the other songs on it, that you'd still not reach the same level if you'd stack them all up.
