Nice to hear Spirit's Nature's Way followed up by Animal Zoo just like on the album to hear the seamless transition from one song to the next.

While I get "Animal Zoo" following Danny Michel's "Feather, Fur and Fin," I think that "Nature's Way" would have been even more poignant. Just sayin', Bill.

wow, been a real long time since I heard Spirit; 19 when this came out.  Nature's Way, like Rachel Carson, early attempts to tell us what is now too late to fix.

And Jay Ferguson split this up to form....Jo Jo Gunn?  What was he thinking?  This was like the Beatles putting out Abbey Road and folding or Genesis splitting after Lamb Lies Down.  Just when a band is at its creative zenith, poof...

They will always be albums to me.

Randy California sounds a lot like Burton Cummings, or visa versa. Spirit never received the recognition for their
innovation in instrumentation (Page ripped California off) or even the quality of their music. This album should be considered one of the top 10 cut during the 60/70's era.  Had they stuck together and continued writing/playing they would most likely have the recognition groups like U2, The Dead, and even Zep have attained. But then again, you know about opinions......

The desert contingency somewhat agrees.... mostly...mainly....kinda....ok, not really, but what a concept.
