Not sure why all the negative comments. The man has talent vocally as well as in his playing. Better than the Courtney Love crap I'm hearing at the moment. Anyway, different strokes......

BUT! You should hear his version of "Sunday Morning Coming Down". It's even better than Cash's, and I'm a "cash fan".

Shawn Mullins is total garbage. I can tell what he's going for but he could only be an embarrassing attempt to emulate his mentors. This is truly a callow, pathetic and embarrassing attempt to evoke any sort of real feeling. please stop.

Ugh, is this song crappy, or WHAT???? Let's take this off the playlist. It really isn't much of anything.

As much as I'd like to hate this song, I just can't. I dig it. Almost as much as the comments from the people that hate it- funny stuff

Vaguely reminiscent of having a fork scraped across one's molars. And about as melodic.

Love this version of his song... I'm very strongly motivated to buy his stuff... especially acustical stuff.

This one isn't yet a reason to be convinced, but at least made me curious 'bout other music he has made.

This song is just bland. Reminds me of Dan Hill.
I don't like to be reminded of Dan Hill.

Good message and with only accoustic guitar it communicates more personally. The Jake likes it! :)

Good storyteller and folk rock artist. I saw him at an RSL in Australia and he and his band were really good. He seems to be more popular over there than he is in the U.S.

Real bad. This man is a joke. There are way too many good songwriters out there for anyone to have to deal with this tripe.

Really good version of this song. This CD is hard to find, released by an Athens GA radio station, has some really good live/unplugged artists/tunes on it including Guadalcanal Diary, Kevn Kinney and a surreal REM Country Feedback that RP sometimes plays.

Don't like his hair, don't like his shoes. There's nothing in the music itself than can get me worked up about anything else.
