The Bangles or Susanna Hoff or whoever --- Walk Like An Egyptian  ??

With some artistry and world music chops.

Can I dance now? I've had three beers, I can do that...

Ekova was a French-based trio, headed by American-born Dierdre Dubois, who originated the name. "Its roots are in echo, and ova, signifying the feminine side," she explains. Much of her lyricism shares the linguistic experimentalism/artistry of their name, with utterances floating in between Celtic, English, and Persian at times, as well as influences from Irish and English folk music.
Ah, Ovas, Echos, ... French.  That explains it all.

Love things with lots of close, dissonant harmonies like that. 2nds and 3rds.

Actually, the previous person was correct.  The track that was played was "The Hop" by Radio Citizen

Not feeling it.  Maybe in a dance club with some enhancements.

Her solo effort is nice, too.  Has the weirdest cover of "Nights in White Satin" ever recorded . . .

Tonight it's Ekova, as advertised.

Right on. I love this group and haven't heard them for years. Cocteau Twins meets DJ remixing. Heaven's Dust is an even stronger album from them.
