I find this "monotony" strangely relaxing and uplifting :-)

Beautiful song. Never heard before. Cannot understand why this can be judged as "boring". |

This is one of the worst songs ever made. IMHO. Okay, the tune is nice but repeating it SO MANY TIMES? REALLY? Looks like the author could not make up enough words for entire song and was paid by the minute.

Elephant jokes aside, (and I've looked out of my tent at the scratching tree to see a big tusker rubbing his arse on a particularly suitable forked branch) Oliver brings back Africa nicely. Paul Simon does not.

The artwork should have been used for Fleetwood Mac's LP called Tusk.

peter_james_bond wrote: There, I corrected your sentence. How could anyone claim that this song is played a lot on RP? Of course, for some people once a year is too often. I happen to side with the majority who like this song, play it as often as you like RP.
Once again, I come across a tune I have not heard yet here (or anywhere else for that matter), and Mr. Bond expresses my sentiments. I guess it has to do with 1962! And I'm 4 months older......Peace Bro |
