I wish folk would quit using "derivative" as a catch-all insult. After thousands of years of human music-making you're not going to get original sounds, so every song is going to be "derivative" of something. If you think it sucks/blows then say so, but please don't try to justify disliked with a posh but meaningless word. Sorry for the rant, but it's a bit of a bugbear of mine ;-( |
