Got to admit, McCartney's jamming bass work on this one is among the very best ever, and I really dig how John's manic twisted weirdness squirms and gnashes its teeth beneath everything, and it seems that it all still shines so darned well after all these years!

I think this is another one of those songs that people rate high just because it's the Beatles. There is a pervasive Beatles-can-do-no-wrong mentality because I think some people are afraid to say "Yeah, that song isn't very good." This song really is shite even though musically it has a bit of an interesting feel to it.

What a bummer.
I was in high school and I could not believe it and nobody else could either. I still have a hard time listening to Double Fantasy album. IMO his best sole but the memories of the time come back.
