Yes, she's original - Yes, she has a unique voice - Yes, I can see the art there - Still, it's like work listening to her. Not my favorite....

I can't help myself listening to her. She has the most unique vocal style out there. Completely bizarre, but likeable.
Aw, heck, I can't explain it, I just like her.

Not my favorite track off Vespertine, but still worthy of a 9!

Bird York ---> Bjork (lol), fits well though.
I would really like to find some Tappi Tikarrass (her 2nd band after Exodus), it's early 80s avant-punk kind of music, eerie and beautiful, but more energized than her solo stuff tends to be.

Like most of what Bjork does. Interesting, different. What makes it worthy of RP

Funny that this follows Bird York. When Bill announced the Bird York song, I thought he said "beeyork"
FYI, this song rocks the docks.

I still love this song after first hearing it here on RP 3.5 years ago. |

I LOVE Björk. I think her lyrics are interesting and poetic. I think her music is original and stunning. I think her voice is artistic and expressive. Her weirdness makes her even cooler. I have many of her albums. Each one has its own style and character.

I do not like this Bjork. The music is not pleasing and her voice is horrible. :puke: |

Have a few Bjork albums, read a good piece about her in the New Yorker a couple months back. Bjork is basically weird but cool. But sometimes she 'gets up my hole', to use the vernacular of my hometown.
I'm glad she makes the music she does, but I'm not always in the mood for it. For her critics here, I'd suggest giving her a chance. Small bites though, like I tell my three year old.
:nodhead: That's why we listen to RP, right?. It's like eating your veggies: even if you don't like the taste sometimes - it's good for you!
