I liked this song when I first listened to it on the Queen of the Damned Sountrack...and I still like it...Some of you guys gotta chill out and accept music that is different to the norm.

I know what you mean. Cow bones belong on the FRONT.
And this song is pretty good! Maybe even MORE than pretty good! |

That's because he appeared on two massive attack albums; Blue Lines and Protection. They were all part of a hip hop movement in Bristol called The Wild Bunch before Massive Attack formed.
If you like this song, you haven't heard anything until you've heard his debut 'Maxinquaye'. |

Well, that could be because he was featured in their first CD, maybe the second one too. Can't remember off the top of my head. |

why is the vocal mixed so low? it's an annoying muddy mix.

i don't see what some other people like about this mud. |

...and said Martina has a solo album out, quite good according to both Mojo and Q magazine, 'Quixotic' |

One of the really great things about this board is that you can always find out who's singing background vocals!
As for the rest of the song, I think it has a great beat without overpowering the singing.

i though maxinquaye was really good, but lost track of tricky after pre-millenium tension. his recent stuff isn't as good, i don;t think. maybe the novelty's just worn off.
